MIA

I trust y'all have had a fantastic week! Sorry I went MIA for a few days and (not sorry about this part ;) left you in the hands of some awesome bloggers. :D I spent the week with my family in Iowa at our denomination's presbytery/family camp. It was such a blast and I made lots of new friends. :) Got a little sunburnt and far too little sleep.

The day before we left our iron broke, so I was thankful when I woke up half an hour late this morning and remembered I had this new strapless dress from Goodwill that didn't need ironed. :)

My sweater is from Khol's I think and my boots are my favs from TJMaxx. It's been a long week and my brain is kind of foggy, so forgive me if I don't respond to all your comments/emails right away-- they made me smile when I was able to get them on the sketchy internet. :D

Have an awesome day! Does your family attend family camps?

    1. Oh, i do it all the time you get to follow so many of the cute trends and be modest. And completely strapless are really nice because they have a higher neck line usaully.

  7. Hi Olivia!

May I say, I LOVE your blog! I've been striving to be more feminine yet more fashionable, and you are a great example of this! I found your blog a while ago through Julianne over at Irish Eyes (she's my best friend and was my debate partner this year) and am so grateful I did. I live in the country, so a lot of the stories you share I sympathize with...

In answer to your question, yes, my family went on two weekend family camp-outs when my brother was involved in Scouts - I have a lot of great memories (and some bad memories) from those times, but apart from those a couple years ago, we haven't/don't.

Thanks again - keep going, you are such an inspiration to sisters-in-Christ like me!

  8. Looks great! Our church has a family camp for all of our members each year, and we go every year! It's a great time of fellowship, and our kids really love it.

  17. Deliciously bold. =) I think I know what denomination you are and what Presbytery you were at - my parent's church (my old church) just had their presbytery last week out of state - might just be the same one. =)

    2. Sorry for the super old post comment here. You just gotta imagine my surprise when I saw my name on your blog... in all caps too... had about a thousand different questions flying through my head. Still haven't gotten used to having a name that stands for a handful of other things. *shaking head*
