If you'd like to know what I wore to church this morning, I posted my navy lace dress on my sewing blog. :)
So, I'd like to take a minute to explain why I post so many pictures. Contrary to what it may seem like, it's not because I like posting pictures of myself. I would dress someone else and share those outfits with you if it was convenient, but it's not. It would triple the time it takes me to blog, and I can't afford to do that. There are flaws with the modest fashion blog model, for sure, so I'm doing what I can. It may seem oxymoronic to say, "modest is not drawing attention to yourself" and then throw yourself on the internet to be looked at. I don't like it, I don't like it at all. Honestly, I'm embarrassed by it, and cringe when I overhear my parents telling a new acquaintance about this blog. Attention is not my cup of tea and it doesn't sit quite right with my idea of meek. But you girls seem to be encouraged by my posts, so I continue as a ministry, because I really feel God's blessing on it. Don't get me wrong, I really, really enjoy blogging. I love creating new outfits to share, I love meeting so many amazing girls from so many places, I love being used as an encouragement.
