Deborah & Co. Review and Giveaway!

Hey y'all!! I have a review and great giveaway for you today!

This headband and earrings are from Deborah & Co., a "fashion without compromise" company that has some really cute, modest clothing and accessory items for little girls, women, and maternity!

I love the headband they sent me-- I wore it as a belt two weeks ago to church (see that here) and have since worn it as a hair accessory many times. Y'all who read regularly may have noticed that I don't often accessorize casually with a headband of any sort (except for headcoverings) and that's because I get headaches really really easily with any sort of tension behind my ears. I am so excited to have this headband from Deborah & Co. because it doesn't give me a headache and yet still keeps my hair in place! I wore it to town yesterday and had two or three people comment on how cute it was. :)

They also sent me these super adorable "The Rowen Earrings" that match perfectly with the headband. My sisters and I have been wearing them frequently. :)

This outfit just sort of came together. I was happy to realize that this headband and my favorite shirt match! My sister was the one who brilliantly layered two unwearable skirts together into a one look that is fun to wear and actually got me several compliments as well. The outer skirt is this one that, because I made it last-minute, I didn't pre-wash my fabric and it shrunk several inches to an unflattering length. :-( The under skirt is this one that is grease-stained and has some holes, but the hem is still pretty. They are both also pretty thin, but together they are fabulous!
Shirt: Thrift store, altered by me (instructions here)
Outer skirt: made by me
Underskirt: Thrift store : Old Navy Brand
Headband: Deborah & Co
Earrings: Deborah & Co.
Bracelet: Gift

Deborah & Co. has a great selection of pieces that I would love to wear.

To just show a few! :) Deborah & Co. is graciously giving away a $25 gift certificate to one of you!

  5. I love this outfit!!! So cute. :) The headband is adorable! I don't have a FB account, so I can't enter the giveaway, but I wouldn't mind buying one. :) I wish I could wear my hair down, though. Unfortunately, it gets too hot around here for that! ;) However, the headband should still look cute even with an updo. :)

  6. I love your headband! I get headaches when I wear most headbands to, it would be cool to find one that didn't give me a headache!
I like how you layered your skirts, I've done that before too!

  12. You get headaches with headbands too?? :) I think headbands are so cute, but they tend to give me a headache, so I don't wear them often.

By the way, entering the giveaway was a little bit confusing. I typed in my name and email address, but then something came up about Facebook and Pinterest. Am I in the giveaway or do I have to have those two? Because I don't have either FB or Pinterest... :)

    1. Sorry about that! No, I don't think you are in the giveaway until you do at least one of the +1 options. I just added an option to follow The Modest Mom blog and that just requires an email address, so hopefully you'll be able to enter that way. :)

  24. Lovely outfit, Olivia!! Question -- could you possibly maybe pretty please do a post on skirt lengths, and how to find what is unflattering and what's flattering, etc. etc. when it comes to lengths? That would be AMAZING!! I'm tall with long legs and most long skirts seem to hit right above my ankle. I kind of doubt that would fall under the "flattering" category, I don't know :/ But if you'd do a post that would be amazing!!!
