1 Button-Down | 3 Days | 3 Ways ~ Day 3

Hey y'all! I've been busy today! We did the weekend's cooking and I ran to the grocery store (not a short trek living out where we do) this morning and then this afternoon we went to see Captain America 2 with friends! Best part of the movie is when my sister realized I was wearing the same arrow necklace as Natasha. ;)

  7. Hehe...I love how I wore a Captain America/Steve Rogers inspired look today, but you went and saw the new movie today. One of these days I will see it, just have to find time to go to the theater. :) Also, I adore your outfit for today. Those sandals -- perfection. <3

  9. That is so funny how similar yours and Callie's outfits were today! Yours is like the more casual version of what she wore. Your black dress is so pretty! I love seeing all the things you fins on thredup. I just made my first purchase there last week and keep checking the tracking to see where it is! Thanks so much for being one of the amazing hostesses for this event! I'll be praying that you stay well and that your energy stays up while you launch Fresh Apparel! Have a wonderful Sunday :)

  11. Hi Olivia!
Love your outfit! I just wanted to ask you if you've heard abou the movie God's Not Dead. I went to see it with some friends tonight, and WOW! It's about a college student who has to stand up for his faith. Here's the link to the trailer. I would really encourage you to support it in theaters. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bMjo5f9eiX8

    1. The outfit was great, Olivia! Thanks for the challenge!

I heard about that movie and then was a little discouraged in seeing it when I read this review. This review from someone reliable really changed my mind about seeing it.

    2. Hey Moriah....just wanted to let you know that I read the review you shared before watching God's Not Dead. Even though there were a couple lame parts, I greatly enjoyed the movie and it has a very powerful message. Considering that it's hard to find any decent christian movies out there at all, this was really good. Totally recommend it! Blessings!

  13. I love this one, I think the contrast is really nice. At first I thought your dress was navy; navy would make a good pairing with the light green, too. Great fun!

  14. Tell me, how do you manage to keep ONE shirt clean for three days? Some days I can't even manage one afternoon...sigh...esp. when I'm cooking. tess

  15. Really creative idea to put it over a dress! I would have never thought/tried to do that, and it's so cute! I love your sandals. Wish it was warm enough to wear them here!

  16. Squee!!! I want the same arrow necklace too! :P I REALLY want to see The Winter Solider, but we don't have the money to take all six of us to the movie house. :( But I can always hope....

  17. Olivia, this was so creative! This was a great blog event.

I know you buy a lot from thrift stores, but do you know a good place to find long, modest summer skirts? My father told me I needed to wear something nicer than a jean skirt for Easter and was disappointed when I told him I had no summer clothes-whatsoever!

Have you ever checked out www.theskirtoutlet.com ?

  19. Was the Captain America movie good? And was it clean? Because I will be really upset if they ruin one of my favourite super heroes.
Also, were there any really memorable quotes in the movie?

  20. I love this outfit - especially the sandals! That's exactly the type of sandal I'm looking for ATM but can't find anywhere. Btw, this cut and length of skirt fits you best, in my opinion.
