Your video is so professional and beautiful!
Yes, I really, really like the video you put together! Looks like it took quite some effort! Good job!
Congratulations Olivia! How exciting to see this project move along! So thrilled to be able to participate in backing your dream!
CONGRATULATIONS! Oh my goodness, I cannot even put it into words how excited I am for you! Congratulations for this huge accomplishment, and I truly pray that God will bless all you hard work and will help Fresh Apparel to grow and spread! I hope to be able to support you, Olivia! <3
It would be cheaper to make one of these than buy them! They are horribly over priced.K.L.
I totally agree it would be cheaper! I have written a resource available on freshmodesty.com to help if you're up for making one! I really kept the price as low as I possibly could. Made in America isn't cheap, but it's worth it. :)
I totally understand, Olivia! I sew too and I am often suggested by friends & family to sell modest clothes, but unless the fabric is super low quality they cannot be very cheap! Keep up the excellent work, your skirts are beautiful!
How much are the skirts on retail and how much is the ebook?Clara
denim isn't cheap. people don't realize the time and overhead that goes into sewing. I can sew a skirt fairly cheap because I upcycle thrifted materials. but even still, I barely make any profit for my time even if I charge $40 per skirt.
So excited for you, Olivia! I've always loved you're denim skirts, so when I heard you were starting Fresh Apparel I was super excited that I would finally be able to own one myself. How awesome for your dream to become a reality. So happy for you!
Hurray!!! We put a post up on our blog to give a shout-out! SO HaPpY!!Cassie + RebekahCalico Sistersa Modest Fashion Blog
This skirt is so pretty!! I spend as much time pregnant as not pregnant, otherwise I would definitely invest in one of these. I'm sure offering a maternity version isn't even on the radar! Thanks so much for your blog. I always enjoy visiting it :)
So HAPPY for you! I've been waiting for this (even though I own a sewing machine, I have no skill). Thanks for offering this as an alternative to the ebook! Gladly backed you. May God bless your start-up, sister!
Yahoooooooo, Olivia! I'll be praying for you :)dance a real
Almost four thousand dollars and it hasn't been two days yet! Wow. Congrats for your loyal supporters!Kathryn
This is so exciting, Olivia!! The kickstarter video is absolutely awesome and it's so exciting seeing all of those stacks of skirts in-the-making :D Congrats on getting your kickstarter up & going - praying for this project.
Congratulations! I'm always looking to be able to style my business casual wardrobe in more 'fun' ways than just black pants and a blouse or cardigan. Praying for the success of your business as 1.) selfishly, this will be a great addition to my closet, and 2.) it's awesome to see young women build businesses from the ground up based on something they are passionate about. Blessings on the growth of Fresh Apparel!
Congratulations! I hope everything turns out well.
Hey, Olivia--quick question when you have the time. I want to follow your blog by GFC (I had previously been following by email) but noticed the widget is gone. Do you not use this anymore?dance a real
ahhh congratulations! i've been reading your blog for about 2 years now, and i always look forward to all your updates. thanks for being willing to share your tips on modesty and femininity with the rest of us, its very uplifting and encouraging. Good luck with Fresh Apparel!
Hi Olivia,I have been having trouble finding long jean skirts for....... I'm not even sure how long! I think I am going to try my hand at making one and I would like to know where you get your material to make the skirts. I also love your blog and congratulations on your company! Blessings,Laney
Laney, I made mine from denim I had gotten from Hobby Lobby. I used a coupon and got it pretty inexpensively. Joanns would be another good option, but there are also some great online fabric stores. I have heard good things of fabric.com and there are a few others. Blessings, Victoriahttp://rufflesandgrace.wordpress.com/
Yay! So excited for you. Praying all goes well and is rewarding for the time and effort you have invested!

You have eight days left and the goal is almost surpassed!Sara
Two days and you need $200 more to meet your goal!
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!! You made your goal!!!! I am almost in tears I am so excited for you! Even thought I have made my own Errand #17 skirt and Destination skirt I still can't wait to get my USA manufactured skirt and Fresh Apparel T-shirt!!!!! When I checked your kickstarter this morning, it still wasn't there but oh so close. I just now checked it again and high-fived my sister and did a little happy dance to see that you were funded! On to the next goal to do both skirts! Congratulations! I am so proud of you and blessed to "know" you! Blessings on your Venture! May God bless the work of your hands! Love ya! Love, Victoriahttp://rufflesandgrace.wordpress.com/
Oh my, SO excited for this and for you, Olivia! :-D Kelsey
I saw that the payment method is through Amazon? I don't suppose you can use Paypal, can you?And if you do another skirt, puleasssee let it be the Destination skirt. :)That's awsome that you've hit your goal already.
Yeah Olivia! So happy you reached your first goal!Love your blog!-Elsie R.
I never expected you'd get funds so fast! So exciting!!
I've been following you for a long time but have never commented! I have loved the errand #17 skirt for forever and I'm so excited to be able to have my own now! I know you have reached your goal but are still trying to reach the next one to be able to make a second skirt, so I blogged about your kickstarter at my new blog about modesty! Excited to see what's next! http://maidenswreath.blogspot.com/
Thank you so much, Danielle!
YEAH!!!!!!! Good for you Olivia!! I'm really happy for you:-) You will be in my prayers as always!
Hello! I was just wondering how much stretch the denim has, since I am in between sizes on the size chart. Would you recommend sizing up, or going by hip vs. waist measurements? Thanks!
I haven't selected the exact denim yet, but I would say whether you size up or down depends on your fit preference. I personally like my denim skirts tight in the waist/hip (this skirt sits between those), but you may hate that feel and prefer to size up.
GREAT JOB!!!!! It's really up now!!!! So excited for you!!!!
Will the price be lowered some if many people buy skirts?Livvy
No, probably not. $65 is pretty much the bare minimum it will ever be offered.
Yay, Olivia! I love that skirt (I was one of your original testers :). So excited to see to see that it's been successful!
Yeah!!! You reached goal number 2!!Congratulations!-Elsie R.
