Sequins + Lace

Hey y'all! I'm really missing blogging more than once a week!

Once again yesterday I was running behind for church. A maxi skirt, t-shirt with sequins, and a structured denim jacket is a pretty no-brainer combination.

// outfit details //
Old Navy denim jacket: Thrift store: $3
Torn by Ronny Kobo brand skirt: ThredUP: $25.99
Boots you totally can't see: ThredUP

I finally learned my lesson after weeks and weeks of turning into an ice cube during church to wear a long skirt, boots, and bring a thick jacket... and I was still chilly when the air would kick on!

Will any of you be at the Modest Fashion Guild conference this weekend? I'm working on my talks right now... too much to say and I have two hours! I'll be back next week with a report of how that went and what I packed... I *think* I'll be able to get it all in a carry on. ;)

Y'all have a great week! What's something you're looking forward to?

  7. What a cute outfit! You're church is like mine…freezing! My dad and the other men at our church get control of the thermostat and freeze the women and children out. :) I have a mental note to always bring my denim jacket, too!

  8. I'm in desperate need of a denim jacket! :) I have a pink cotton button down that I wear unbuttoned as a substitute...but I'm on the hunt! ;)

    Will be for you as you speak! I know that feeling--too much to say and too little time! Except that I only had a minute... :P

  10. This outfit is so perfect! I love how pulled-together yet comfortable it looks.
    Haha-- our church has the opposite problem. It can get pretty humid! But it's usually okay as long as someone remembers to turn all the fans on. :)

  14. That's a really cute outfit, I've never found a good denim jacket that I like -but you pull them off so well. Hopefully, one of these days I'll find a good one at a thrift store.
    By the way, I can totally relate to freezing in church!
